Meet the Team

Mr W Harvey
Director
Having taught in both mainstream and SEN settings, I am passionate about supporting some of the county’s most vulnerable young people and families. Our vision for Projection Education is to create a place where everyone feels welcome and supported. Everyone deserves the right to an education; it may simply need to be delivered differently.

Ms J Lawrence
Head of SEND
I believe learning should be enjoyable, engaging and inspiring. I particularly enjoy finding creative and exciting ways to help pupils learn, ensuring activities capture their interest, motivate them and encourage them to develop a love of learning.

Mrs J Gardner
Head of Education
Mrs. Gardner brings deep expertise in alternative and specialist education, having served as Head of Education in children's homes, a fostering liaison teacher, and a teacher for Gypsy Traveller children.

Mrs S Butler
Administration & Support Staff
I am passionate about empowering children to reach their full potential by providing a supportive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where they can thrive and succeed.

Mrs C Salmon
Teacher
I have a real passion for making a difference in young lives and helping every child reach their potential. I believe learning should be fun, meaningful and full of opportunities to succeed.

Mrs A Kirk
Teacher
I am a teacher with over 20 years and a passion for teaching children with SEN.

Mrs V Mann
Teacher
My passion is helping children with diverse learning needs thrive both academically and personally. I am committed to building trusting relationships that help children develop confidence, resilience, and the skills they need to navigate the world successfully.

Miss L Clare
Teacher
I’m Miss Clare. I bring a creative, energetic approach to my teaching, and I love working flexibly to help every student access school and reach their full potential. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me on my bike or lost in a good book.

Mr J Coleman
Support Staff
I bring with me a strong background in working with individuals with additional needs. My top priority is always to create a safe, happy, and supportive environment where every student can thrive.

Mr J Long
Teacher
I failed maths in primary school. That's why I'm good at teaching it.
I've taught poetry using balloon animals, a clarinet and a bunch of overripe bananas.
The best thing about being at PE? The team and the kids.
Relationships aren’t part of the work. They are the work.

Miss S Bozier
Teacher
I have taught children for 18 years and always strive to motivate, excite, and inspire through engaging, creative learning experiences that bring lessons to life, whether that’s through a whizz-bang science investigation or dressing up as a character to make learning memorable. As a flexible and adaptable teacher, I nurture each child’s interests and abilities, creating a caring and purposeful environment where everyone can thrive.
